Terms of Service
These terms govern your use of Mazadat Masr and its auction, listing, buying, and selling services.
Last updated: August 28, 20261. Operator and service
The platform is operated by the Egyptian company mazadatmasr.com at 10245 South 90 Street, Cairo, Egypt 10245; phone +20 1012100435. We provide technology that lets users list, bid, buy, and sell. Unless expressly stated, we do not own listed items and are not their seller.
2. Eligibility and accounts
- You must be at least 18 and legally capable of entering transactions.
- Provide accurate, current information and protect passwords and verification methods.
- You are responsible for account activity and must report unauthorized use promptly.
- We may request additional buyer or seller verification for security or compliance.
3. Seller duties
Sellers must be legally entitled to sell an item and provide accurate descriptions, images, condition, price, location, delivery costs, and material defects. Sellers remain responsible for licensing, tax, invoice, warranty, and regulatory obligations applicable to their business.
4. Bidding and purchases
Review the listing and all costs before bidding. A winning bid is a serious commitment to complete the transaction, subject to any reserve, disclosed seller terms, and mandatory legal rights. System records are authoritative if displayed timing or bid information conflicts.
5. Prohibited items and conduct
Illegal, stolen, counterfeit, dangerous, infringing, or otherwise prohibited items may not be listed or requested. Shill bidding, false accounts, fee avoidance, misleading content, abuse, and interference with the service are prohibited. We may remove content, restrict accounts, and notify authorities where appropriate.
6. Price, payment, and delivery
Prices are normally shown in Egyptian pounds unless stated otherwise. Available fees, taxes, and delivery costs should be disclosed before completion. Payment and delivery are handled between the parties or through the provider displayed in checkout.
7. Cancellation, returns, and consumers
Cancellation and return rules depend on the seller, item, and auction type, without limiting mandatory consumer rights under Egypt’s Consumer Protection Law No. 181 of 2018 and related rules.
8. Technical events and disputes
We may pause, extend, or cancel an auction after a material technical failure, fraud, obvious error, or violation. We may help document disputes, but users remain responsible for transaction obligations unless a specific service states otherwise.
9. Intellectual property and privacy
Each party keeps its rights in content and marks. By submitting content, you grant us a limited, non-exclusive licence to host, display, format, and promote it to operate the service. Our Privacy Policy forms part of these terms.
10. Suspension and liability
We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms or threaten users or the platform. The service is provided as available, and we do not guarantee the quality, safety, legality, or completion of user transactions. Liability is limited to the fullest extent allowed by law, without excluding rights that cannot legally be excluded.
11. Law, updates, and contact
Egyptian law governs these terms and competent Egyptian courts have jurisdiction over disputes not resolved amicably. We may update these terms and publish the new effective date. Legal inquiries:
