6. Google Analytics and reCAPTCHA
We may use Google Analytics to measure use and Google reCAPTCHA to defend forms from automated abuse. Google may process technical information and set the necessary _GRECAPTCHA cookie. Non-essential cookies can be controlled through consent settings and your browser.
7. Retention and security

Marketplace messages and dispute evidence
Messages sent through Mazadat Masr are stored on our systems and are available to the buyer and seller participating in the conversation. They are not end-to-end encrypted. Access to message content by Mazadat Masr personnel is restricted to authorized administrators.
Authorized administrators may access, review, preserve and export marketplace messages when reasonably necessary to protect users or the platform, prevent or investigate fraud or abuse, provide support, enforce our Terms of Service, resolve a complaint or transaction dispute, establish, exercise or defend legal rights, comply with applicable law, or respond to a valid request from a competent authority. Administrative access and evidence exports are logged.
When a complaint, dispute, investigation or legal matter exists, Mazadat Masr may place a legal hold on the relevant conversation and related account, listing, offer, bid, reservation or order records. A legal hold suspends ordinary deletion for the information within its scope. Evidence snapshots may include the exact stored messages, participant and listing identifiers, timestamps and related transaction records; each export may be protected by a cryptographic hash to help detect later alteration.
Messages are retained only for the period reasonably necessary for marketplace operation, security, support, dispute resolution and applicable legal obligations. Information subject to a legal hold may be retained for longer until the hold is released. Users should not send passwords, full payment-card details, government identification numbers, medical information or other unnecessary sensitive information through marketplace messages.
Requests concerning access, correction, restriction or deletion of personal data remain subject to applicable law and any overriding obligation or lawful need to preserve evidence.
